Drill to Earth's Core Season 1 is the live build
Badge-dated drops from launch through Prospector, with one dated event still on the calendar.
Drill to Earth’s Core does not publish numbered patches. Game Name. ships a class, a dungeon, or a lobby claim, and the Roblox badge API is what dates it. This hub is the index for that trail. The live client is Season 1, which landed in the week of September 3–8, 2026. The long write-up is the Season 1 update page. The full calendar from February launch to now sits on patch history.
The game is released. It has been on Roblox since February 25, 2026, as a 30-player online co-op descent. Nothing below treats it as unreleased or as a codes vehicle. Season 1 did not add a redeem box; the codes hub stays empty on purpose.
What Season 1 actually shipped
Two badges were created on September 3, 2026: Prospector (unlock the Prospector class) and Shopkeeper. Prospector is a rare class unlock. Shopkeeper is a widely awarded interaction badge. Together they are the hard evidence the drop is live. The Roblox experience title picked up a [SEASON 1] tag between September 4 and September 8.
The developers also listed a Roblox event, NEW SEASON + RANKS, running September 4–21, with copy that promised a new lobby, a ranking system, and a major content update. Prospector and Shopkeeper are confirmed in-game. The lobby refresh and ranks are advertised, not independently verified on this wiki. If your client still looks like the summer lobby, you are not crazy; treat ranks as announced until you see them. Details, visit counts, and the Witch correction live on the Season 1 page.
Ignore the universe updated stamp of September 9, 2026. Trackers call that a patch. No badge and no game pass were created that day. It was a republish.
Next dated event
The events feed carries one future listing, created September 5, 2026: New Update! with the subtitle Surprise Update!, running September 19–21, 2026. There is no public description. The dedicated Surprise Update page holds the UTC window and the list of things we will not invent. After September 21 there is no published roadmap, and the Socks Games group shout is not a patch notes blog.
Class-badge cadence
Since midsummer the studio has been dropping a class badge roughly weekly:
- Priest — August 6
- Executioner — August 14 (teleporters disabled during boss walls; 1 HP / 12s regen on some fights)
- Witch — August 19 (later confirmed with tens of thousands of unlocks, not a staged dummy)
- Salvager — August 28, alongside Heart of Earth
- Prospector — September 3, opening Season 1
Eight days without a new class is normal; their widest summer gap was nine. The patch history also covers the June Pirate plus daily-streak drop, the July crafting shack / Crazy Zack work, and the August 2 Gunsmith plus Vampire Mansion rework. Use that page when you need a date. Use the class tier list when you need to know whether the new seat is worth Cores.
How to read a rumor
A new Roblox event is not a codes drop. A republish is not a balance patch. A badge named Shopkeeper is not proof the lobby was rebuilt. When a video says everything changed, check whether a badge was created that day. If you play for Cores and classes, the class cost tool and the players hub move slower than thumbnails.
Play the current build on the official Roblox page. Confirm group news on Socks Games or Discord. Then come back here for the dated list rather than a screenshot of an updated timestamp.
Frequently Asked Questions

Did Season 1 add promo codes or a new lobby?
It did not add codes; see the codes hub. A new lobby and ranks were advertised on the NEW SEASON + RANKS event and remain unverified in-game on this wiki.
When is the next dated update?
A Roblox event titled New Update! / Surprise Update! is listed for September 19–21, 2026, with no public notes. Watch this hub after that window.

No. The universe updated stamp that day is a republish. No badge or pass was created. The live content drop is still Season 1.
