Drill to Earth's Core Layer Depth Chart
Twelve named layers from Grass to the Heart of the Earth, with wall HP, threats, and the Clay fuel wipe.
This is the printable depth table for Drill to Earth’s Core, a 30-player online co-op Roblox game that released on February 25, 2026. It is a reference chart, not a calculator. The HUD already shows your current meters. This page tells you which named layer that number sits in, how much HP the next boss wall has, and which threats spawn before you arrive.
Read it beside the 100 KM walkthrough when you are pushing the Glowing Core wall, and beside the core boss plan when the 100 km HP bar is the only thing left. Class wallets belong on the class cost chart. Both tools sit under the Tools hub.
Full layer table
Depths are meters from the surface. Wall HP is the boss wall at the bottom of that layer. Structures are the named detours you should still take even when the vehicle wants to keep drilling.
| Layer | Depth range | Boss wall HP | Threats and structures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grass | 0–3,000 m | 100 | Goblins. First dungeon sits at 3,000 m. |
| Dirt | 3,000–10,000 m | 500 | Goblin Brutes, Spider Tunnel, Mineshaft. |
| Stone | 10,000–17,000 m | 1,000 | Loot Goblins. Dungeons L2 and L3. |
| Clay | 17,000–24,000 m | 2,000 | Void Clay wall empties all drill fuel. Vampire Mansion. |
| Fossil | 24,000–31,000 m | 4,000 | Spiders. |
| Crystal | 31,000–41,000 m | 10,000 | Bombo, bats, fuel leeches. Goblin Arena, Spider’s Lair. |
| Toxic | 41,000–51,000 m | 25,000 | Toxic mutation. Rest stop is destroyed. |
| Radioactive | 51,000–61,000 m | 50,000 | Toxic mutation continues. |
| Abyss | 61,000–72,000 m | 100,000 | Mole Man. All mutations can appear. |
| Void | 72,000–84,000 m | 200,000 | Void mutation only. |
| Glowing Core | from 84,000 m | 500,000 at 100 km | Wolf Bat. Void Crystal reward. |
| Heart of the Earth | from 1,000,000 m | 5,000,000 | Every enemy and mutation. Badge dated August 28, 2026. |
Twelve rows. That is the whole map the HUD is trying to summarize. If a stream overlay skips Clay or merges Toxic with Radioactive, ignore it and use this table.
Early band: Grass, Dirt, Stone
The first 17,000 m teach the loop: mine coal, fill sacks, clear the dungeon at 3,000 m, scrap junk, buy Drill Power, break the wall, collect 10 Cores, repeat. Grass goblins are a tutorial. Dirt Brutes start punishing anyone who stands in the open without a melee swing. Stone introduces Loot Goblins that will sprint away with your income if nobody peels them, plus the first L2 and L3 dungeons.
Wall HP here is 100, then 500, then 1,000. A fresh server can brute-force Grass with almost no upgrades. Dirt is where Common Drill Power should already be on the machine. Stone is where skipping a dungeon to “save time” starts to snowball into a stall two layers later. The upgrade tier list exists so you do not spend those early Coins on Power Drive.
Stay on the vehicle when the driver calls a wall. A 30-player squad that splits between a Mineshaft and a Spider Tunnel still wins if both groups return with scrap. A squad that ignores both and only punches the 500 HP Dirt wall will feel fast until Clay.
Mid band: Clay, Fossil, Crystal
Clay is the first layer that can end a good run without a wipe screen. The Void Clay wall at 24,000 m empties all drill fuel. Not a chunk. Not a leak. The tank goes to zero as the wall breaks. If you arrive on fumes, the vehicle dies in Fossil with spiders already spawning and no coal in the hopper. Refuel before 24,000 m even if the bar looks comfortable. Call it on voice. Make the driver wait.
Vampire Mansion sits in Clay and is worth the detour for chests and scrap, the same way Goblin Arena and Spider’s Lair are worth it in Crystal. Fossil spiders are less dramatic than the fuel wipe but they chew isolated players. Crystal adds Bombo, bats, and fuel leeches on top of a 10,000 HP wall. Leeches are why you do not treat the Clay lesson as a one-time scare: something down here still wants the tank empty.
Wall HP in this band is 2,000, then 4,000, then 10,000. That last jump is the reason Driller’s discount and Lucky Looter’s chests start to matter. Check the class cost chart in the lobby if you are still on Miner when Crystal walls take minutes.
Abyss band: Toxic, Radioactive, Abyss, Void
Toxic mutation starts at 41,000 m and the rest stop in that layer is destroyed, so the usual heal-and-sell pause is gone. Radioactive keeps the toxic pressure while the wall doubles to 50,000 HP. Abyss at 61,000–72,000 m is Mole Man plus every mutation the game has taught you so far, on a 100,000 HP wall. Void at 72,000–84,000 m strips the mutation list down to void only and doubles the wall again to 200,000 HP.
This band is where a 30-player server either plays roles or feeds the wall. Healer and Tank earn their keep. Reaper soul orbs keep people off the floor. The depth chart cannot pick your class, but it can tell you that 25,000 HP at Toxic is not “a bit more than Crystal.” It is two and a half Crystal walls, and Radioactive is twice Toxic. If Drill Power is still in the Common comfort zone, open the upgrade tier list before you volunteer to drive.
Do not skip dungeons here to “make time.” The walls are the time sink. Chests and scrap are how you buy the next rarity of drill upgrades. A clean Void arrival with a starved upgrade board is slower than a messy Toxic with a funded machine.
Core band: Glowing Core
Glowing Core begins at 84,000 m. The named 100 km wall sits at 100,000 m with 500,000 HP and Wolf Bat on it. The reward for the break is a Void Crystal, not a codes drop and not a free class. Treat this as a raid check, not a longer Crystal wall. Fuel, health, and wall damage all have to be ahead of the curve before you commit, because backing out of a 500,000 HP fight wastes the run you spent an hour building.
Use the 100 KM walkthrough for the route into this band and the core boss plan for the Wolf Bat fight itself. This chart only answers “when does the layer start” and “how much HP is the wall.” It does not replace those guides.
Heart band: Heart of the Earth
Heart of the Earth starts at 1,000,000 m, not at 100 km. The wall is 5,000,000 HP. Every enemy and every mutation can show up. The Heart of Earth badge was created on August 28, 2026. Season 1 in September 2026 did not move that floor. If a video thumbnail says “core” and shows 100 km, that is Glowing Core, not Heart.
You will not stumble into Heart on a casual 30-player pub the way you stumble into Dirt. Career total depth, funded Mythic upgrades, and a squad that already cleared 100 km are the real gates. Keep this row on the table so nobody spends a night aiming at the wrong number.
Each boss wall still pays 10 Cores. That is lobby currency for classes, not in-run Coins. There is no promo-code shortcut; the codes hub has none. If you need a class before the next deep attempt, farm those wall Cores and daily quests, then check prices on the class cost chart.
If the fuel bar is not full before 24,000 m, stop the vehicle. The Void Clay wall will not wait for a coal run after it snaps the tank to zero.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cores, classes, and the 100 KM wall.
How many layers are in Drill to Earth's Core?
Twelve named layers: Grass through Heart of the Earth. Glowing Core starts at 84,000 m with the 100 km wall at 500,000 HP. Heart of the Earth starts at 1,000,000 m, not at 100 km.
Why does everyone warn about Clay?
The Void Clay wall at 24,000 m empties the entire drill fuel tank. Refuel before you break it or the vehicle dies as Fossil spiders spawn. Vampire Mansion is in this layer; the fuel wipe is still the bigger threat.
Where is the 100 KM boss wall?
At 100,000 m in Glowing Core, with 500,000 HP and Wolf Bat. Follow the 100 KM walkthrough and the core boss plan. Do not confuse it with Heart of the Earth at 1,000,000 m.
Should I skip dungeons to reach deeper layers faster?
No. Wall HP scales faster than a starved drill. Clear dungeons for scrap and chests, then spend Coins using the upgrade tier list. Skipping structures is how mid-band runs stall.
Is this chart an in-game calculator?
No. It is a static table under the Tools hub. It does not spend fuel or Cores. Pair it with the class cost chart when you are planning the next lobby unlock.
