Drill to Earth's Core Season 1 Tier Lists
Class, upgrade, and weapon ranks for a 30-player co-op descent.
Drill to Earth’s Core has been live on Roblox since 25 February 2026, and Season 1 is the current lobby banner. This hub is the map for three separate ranks: Academy classes bought with Cores, in-run drill upgrades bought with Coins, and shop weapons you grab between layers. None of these lists pretend to be an official patch note. They follow community opinion from September 2026, the same style of S–D ranking players use after the Gunsmith update, and they assume a 30-player online co-op server rather than a solo sandbox.
Cores and Coins are not interchangeable. Cores unlock a class at the Academy and stay on your account. Coins are earned and spent inside a single descent — selling ore, scrap, gold bars, and dungeon loot — then they reset when the drill dies or the run ends. Ranking a 100-Core Miner against a 30,000-Core Pirate only makes sense if you treat the cheap kit as a starter and the expensive kit as a late goal. The class tier list spells out that split. The drill upgrade tier list ranks Coin sinks that the whole server shares. The weapons and gear tier list covers personal loadouts that do not replace a strong drill.
How these ranks are built
A class is S-tier when it still pays for itself after a nerf, funds the shared drill, or carries a deep layer without asking the lobby for a babysitter. Lucky Looter sits there because multi-drops and chest coins still print more upgrade money than any combat passive. Driller sits there because wall damage and discounted Drill Power, Mega Drill, and Power Slam keep the vehicle moving when rock HP spikes. Pirate sits there because gold bars plus a doubled gold sell price, and a church-saved cannon, turn mid-run trash into a private economy. Those three kits are not the only fun ones; they are the ones that change how a 100 km attempt feels.
A-tier combat kits — Reaper, Bruiser, Gunslinger, Goblin King, Bounty Hunter — win dungeons and boss rooms. They do not, by themselves, punch a glowing core wall. B-tier covers honest specialists: Miner as a first buy, Mechanic for fuel, Tank for HP, Demolitionist for explosives, Executioner for boss damage. C-tier and D-tier are not “unplayable.” Scout, Healer, Princess, and Nightcrawler ask more from the lobby than they return. Recruit and Racer are fantasy picks unless you already like the fantasy. Full notes, a markdown table, and a 30-player mix live on the class page.
Upgrades versus weapons
The drill is the run. If wall damage stalls at a layer, extra shotguns will not save you. That is why the upgrade list puts Drill Power (free-to-play) or RPM Overclock (Robux) first, then Power Burst, then Health Regen, Team Health, and Deadly Drill, with Fuel Storage as a support buy. Power Drive is the famous trap: it makes the vehicle accelerate and almost never pays back the Coin tax that rarity stacking adds. Driller discounts three of the actually good nodes, which is why that class and the upgrade list should be read together before a long push. The 100 km route and the layer tool exist so you can match those buys to depth, not to a screenshot of a maxed lobby.
Shop gear is still worth ranking because dungeons, goblin rooms, and the core boss punish a naked pickaxe. Steel Speed Boots at 150 Coins, a Rifle at 750, a Void Shotgun at 3,000 when you can afford it, and Bandages at 10 Coins each are the sane ladder. Dynamite at 200 Coins is the skip — the same money on Drill Power or a real gun does more. Town turrets delete the pack that chases you into a settlement, so you should not dump Coins into panic explosives just because a brute is behind the cart. Bruiser and Gunslinger both live on the players hub if you want the class that actually scales those weapons.
How to use this hub
New accounts should not open the S-tier table and freeze. Buy Miner for 100 Cores, run the getting started loop, and treat the class list as a shopping order rather than a personality test. When you have 5,000 Cores, Driller is the clean deep-run pick. When you have 10,000, Lucky Looter or Reaper is the fork between loot and sustain. When you have 30,000, Pirate is the gold engine. Unverified Academy kits — Recruit, Racer, Witch, Salvager, Crafter, Nightcrawler, Gunsmith, Priest — appear in the class list without invented Core prices. If a creator quotes a number we have not locked, we leave the cell blank on purpose.
There is no promo-code box in this game, so a rank will never include a “redeem this for Lucky Looter” shortcut. Cores come from achievements, dailies, chests, and layer walls. Game passes are only Sack Storage at 79 Robux and Extra Health at 99 Robux; they buff inventory and HP, they do not buy a class. If you landed here from Dig to Earth’s CORE, you are on the wrong descent — that is a different Roblox place. This wiki is for Drill to Earth’s Core, the 30-player co-op drill, place 101906032112547.
Read the three lists in any order, then jump to the featured class guides when you are ready to spend Cores. The ranks will move when Season 1 patches land; the Coin and Core split will not.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cores, classes, and the 100 KM wall.
Are these official ranks from the developer?
No. The S–D tables are community opinion as of September 2026, in the same style as public class ranking videos after the Gunsmith patch. Patch notes can move a kit overnight.
Should I buy an S-tier class before I understand the drill?
No. Spend 100 Cores on Miner, follow the getting started loop, and save toward Driller at 5,000 or Lucky Looter at 10,000. An S-tier kit still needs Coin upgrades to break deep walls.
Do weapon ranks replace drill upgrade ranks?
Never. Shop guns and boots keep you alive in dungeons. Drill Power, RPM Overclock, and Power Burst decide whether the shared vehicle reaches the next layer.
Why are some Academy classes missing a Core price?
Recruit, Racer, Witch, Salvager, Crafter, Nightcrawler, Gunsmith, and Priest do not have a verified Core cost on this wiki. We will not invent one. Check the class cost tool when a number is confirmed.
